Nursing scholar Mary Lou Collesel earns state award at Amelia High
Mary Lou Collesel was honored Sunday night at Amelia High School for a West Clermont Jr. Women's Club Nursing Scholarship and the Merit of Distinction from the State Board of Education. The 4th in a class of 156 will study nursing at Christ Hospital and the University of Cincinnati. She led Baccalaureate invocations, has perfect attendance, and holds multiple campus roles including Health Careers Club president and National Honor Society secretary. Administrators plan a visit to Greene County Joint Vocational School in Xenia on May 29 with a tour at 11:00 and lunch at 12:30.

Bari Holman a 1967 Batavia High School graduate and freshman in UC College of Engineering earned Dean's List honors for Winter Quarter 1967-68. The dean's list includes full time undergraduates with a GPA of 3.4 or higher for the quarter. Holman is the son of Mr and Mrs Glenn Holman of Batavia.
