Clermont Trio Will Graduate At West Point
Clermont County residents are among West Point graduates. John H. Armstrong 21 of Milford and Robert T. Veidt 24 of Milford both earned bachelor of science degrees, with Armstrong active in chapel choir French club yearbook staff and track and Veidt in chapel choir Glee Club Spanish club and soccer. Both cadets held ranks and were appointed to the academy by Rep. Harsha. Arthur James True Union Township Trustee entered Christ Hospital. SP/4 Barry Wayne Lewis 20 died in Vietnam May 9 from mortar fire. burial at Lucy Run Cemetery Batavia. Army chaplain W Richard Waddle accompanied the body home.

Tarvin Elected to EKU Hall of Fame for 1968
Robert E. Tarvin a Williamsburg senior earns EKU Hall of Fame honors for superior scholarship leadership and campus involvement. He was an all-OVC tackle in 1966 on a football scholarship and later served as undergraduate assistant coach while maintaining a 3.82 GPA and leading E Club Kappa Pi Epsilon and Omicron Delta Kappa. He appeared in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.

The sixth annual Little Miami River Canoe Races scheduled for Saturday and Sunday are postponed because of unusually high swift water. Milford Area Chamber of Commerce Frontier Days also postponed. a new date will be announced later. Sidewald Art Show remains on with potential rain postponement to June 9 if needed.
