County Fair Opens With New Draft Horse Pull Feature
The 1963 county fair schedules exhibit rules livestock sales start at 10 a.m. A draft horse pulling contest debuts Wednesday July 27 at 7 30 p.m with many strong teams expected. An open dairy goat show is set for Saturday July 90 as another first. Gospel music show features The Rhythm Masters with Bill Dyke and Gary Hayes as emcee. Contest entrants appear in the show after a gospel contest the day before at the fairgrounds. Firemen parade opens activities Sunday July 4 at 7 p.m followed by the 4 H Fun Rodeo at 4 p.m.
