Breakthrough Batavia Children’s Treatment Center Opens
In its second year the Batavia Children’s Treatment Center, a Child Focus division, advances community mental health with evening and Saturday hours. Staff include two Ph.D. psychologists, a child psychiatrist, and six masters level therapists, all moonlighting with hospitals, universities, and treatment agencies to serve area children and families.

Santa's helpers boost Amelia Bank parade gifts
Staff from Society Bank of Amelia staffed the Christmas parade float and distributed 1500 dollars worth of children’s gifts. The center offers a cooperative program for parents and caregivers with supervision by psychologists and a multidisciplinary team. Fees are set with parents and capped after a year. the Children’s Treatment Center operates in the mental health wing of the Medical and Services Building near Cleveland Mercy Hospital.
