Natural Christmas decorating using forest finds and crafts
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources urges using nature for holiday decorating this year. Gather pine, nuts, seeds, pods, berries, and grasses from woods or backyards to create wreaths, swags, garlands, centerpieces, and tree ornaments with simple methods and shared craft ideas. A Malabar Farm State Park workshop December 14 offers hands on pine wreath making basket weaving and grapevine techniques for $4.
