Good Books By Worn Pages A Reader's Library Test

Hat shop uproots small towns through colorful nicknames
In Ormont County two hamlets Wig ginsville and Hennings Malls earned nicknames from trades and politics. Wig ginsville grew from a hatter joke naming the place Wigginsville in honor of South. Hennings Malls was called Coon Town for early Whig ties and pioneer life. Fire devastated the mills and chairs, ending major industrial revival after 1872.
