Milford Denied Grant Request for Sewer Repair Plan

Clermont County commissioners rejected Milford's bid to join a county wide grant program seeking 455,100 for sewerage repairs in Clertoma Village. Milford already has 25,000 from a federal block grant and offered to include it. officials cited fairness to other towns and the risk of taking Milford's funds. Knepp urged reconsideration next year and noted 201 residents signed a petition requesting aid. Milford will instead use 51,000 in federal revenue sharing to address the worst issues.
