Fiestas de San Antonio in Questa draws crowds despite parade miscues
Hundreds enjoyed the weekend event at Fiestas de San Antonio in Questa June 12 to 14 despite the parade falling through and no carnival. Reina Annette Ortega led the festivities with court members Jacqueline Rael and Jolene Rael. High winds sparked a greased pig contest for kids while live bands across genres kept dancers moving at Molycorp Park. Organizers renovated the park and stage, with KRZA and KDCE broadcasting portions of the fiesta. Robert Ortega Jr. thanked sponsors and volunteers for a successful celebration.
