Father Daughter Team Leads In Nebraska Quarter Horse Events
Harry Haverick and his daughter Sharon of Route 2 Gering Nebr chase top state ratings in quarter horse cutting and pole bending. Sharon rides Buck's Robin to a pole bending lead while Harry trails pro trainer Bill Keyser of O'Neill by about ten points on Sandsoman. The pair bought Sandsoman from Buster Welch this spring and aim to climb to the top by October ratings deadline. They plan to seek more points at the state fair Ak-Sar-Ben show and other Omaha area events as Perma-Stone construction remains their main line.
