Bookmobile Sets Out Across Cheyenne Kimball Areas
The Western Plains Regional Library bookmobile begins the 1967-68 school year with about 2600 books. It serves Dalton Kimball Lodgepole Potter and Sidney residents with stops at multiple schools and public libraries through August to May, including Dalton High and Potter Public Library, with set schedules on Mondays through Fridays and additional routes in Ordville and surrounding communities.

Fiddlers to Perform at Fox Theatre During Centennial Fest
Fiddlers from Fort Morgan and Cole travel to Sidney for the Cheyenne County Centennial Oldtime Fiddlers Contest held Saturday at 7 p.m. on the Fox Theatre stage with Gene Lienemann hosting. Judges appointed by Western Nebraska Old Time Fiddlers Association Fox Theatre and Sidney Woman's Club. The 8 p.m. film Dr Zhivago costs $1.50. Awards given for first through third places. A Sunday program at the grandstand caps the centennial fair with performances on the flatgrounds opening program.
