A drainage board in Dun dee township Monroe county approved a petition to clean about six miles of the Middle Branch of the Macon drain. The project faces opposition from Washtenaw county commissioner John Flook who argues the petition lacks sufficient local signatures and that brush causing flooding originates outside Washtenaw. The six mile section lies mainly in Monroe and Lenawee counties and would be assessed for the work.
