Mereditta Morden age 19 from Clinton was treated at Saline Community hospital for injuries after her car skidded 41 feet on Arkona road and struck a stake truck driven by Lavern Seizert 60 of Tecumseh as the truck turned into a private drive at 4375 Arkona. She was released after treatment.

Animal Bites Endanger Tots as Rabies Fear Grows
Kimberly Rotunno and four other children were bitten by pets in one week in the city. Police logged five dog bites and one cat bite from June 20 to 27, totaling 18 bite incidents since May 1 including a squirrel and 11 dogs. Young Men Cited For Possessing Beer
Richard Connally 19 and James Leonard 20 of Wayne were arrested with two 16 year old girls after police stopped their car for defective brake lights and found eight beers.
