Andrew Hannell, longtime Osceola resident and Swedish immigrant, died Friday at York hospital aged 76 years 9 months 18 days after leg amputation for a blood clot. Born January 14 1860 in Linkoping Sweden, he came to America in 1881 settling in Iowa Illinois and Nebraska. He lived two miles west of Osceola since 1892, married Sophia Martin in 1885 and leaves wife and two surviving children William and Mrs Wattie Tyndall. one daughter Lillian Carlson preceded him. Funeral and burial details noted with local social updates surrounding Osceola community events.
