Final Beet Payment Made to Nebraska Growers in 1935

D J Roach Nebraska district manager of the Great Western Sugar company announced a final payment of 268589 will be made to Nebraska beet growers on their 1935 crop. The total for last year’s crop exceeds 3,000,000 dollars. The 1936 crop is being harvested and larger than last year. Four 1935 crop payments will exceed the previous year by about 680,000 dollars. A total of 7.21 dollars per ton was paid.
