Polk Village Board reorganizes offices in 1968 special session
The Village Board of Polk held a special meeting at the Polk Hotel on April 30 1968 to reorganize and appoint officials. Dean Myers elected chairman with committees named for Light & Water and Street and Alley. New hires include Violet Sundberg librarian Walter Nelson park and street commissioner Arnold Neuhaus light and water commissioner and village clerk. Adjournment followed.
