Local couples attend showers and dinners in Clarks area

Lebert Skoglund of Kewaunee and Jonas Skoglund of York were Tuesday dinner guests of Mr and Mrs Martin Hoffman. A Sunday afternoon shower for Miss Ruth Merklinger was held at the Pete Stromberg home in Clarks. Ida Green and family from Central City and Dennis Ostrander visited Will Green’s home Sunday evening. Ed Coover, Arlo Stevens, and Karen attended a shower for Miss Ruth Merklinger in Clerks at the Pete Stromberg home.
