Polk Village Board Hears Reports and Adjourns

The Polk Village Board met February 5 at 8 00 PM with all members present. Committees reported, the treasurer and light and water commissioners reports were accepted, and a caucus was scheduled after the school caucus for February 27. Several bills were approved and warrants drawn. The meeting adjourned with clerk Arnold Neuhaus presiding. Mrs James Brazda Sr and family hosted guests at Swanton after church.

Me and Mrs Leslie Adelson visited Mr and Mrs Grant Johnson on Friday evening. W G Kohl of Clarks turned 86 with family in attendance. Community members and families including Stanford Ang Max Jones Connie Jones in Seward Gerald Branting family Hastings and Homer Green with Clarence Munn from Central City visited Clifford Branting. Polk Methodist MYF attended The Bible movie in Central City and returned for a church meeting with lunch by Mrs Henry Kisler.
