Genoa earns Goldenrod Championship for 1949 50 season as coaches name an all conference first and second teams. Osceola St Paul and Polk draw playoff spots for a March 13 15 grade school tournament at Osceola with admittance set at 5c for students and 10c for adults. Miss Elsie Cerny visits relatives in Omaha through Sunday.

Mr and Mrs John Staroscik attended the funeral of Charles Easton Hanson, a field man for PMAA, in Holdrege last Monday. A group of local Campfire Girls visited the Record office last Tuesday evening to organize again and plan meetings in the former Marjorie’s Beauty Shop room.
