New Youth Center Forges Ahead in Aurora
Ak Sar Ben General Manager Tom Brock announced a $10 000 donation from the Ak Sar Ben Agricultural Youth Foundation toward the Nebraska Youth Leadership Development Center in Aurora Nebraska. The gift will be matched by state FFA chapters and used to build a 27 acre site with six cottages a bathhouse and a swimming pool remodel. The center will host the Nebraska Association of FFA meetings and leadership training and be open to all Nebraska youth groups and adult education events. Construction starts immediately and the center will be usable next summer even before completion.
