Desert highway sniper leaves three dead in California spree
Richard Hicks, 34, of Rowland Heights, surrendered after a six hour shooting rampage along a 12 mile stretch near Blythe. Authorities said no motive is evident as three men were killed and six others injured by a sawed off .22 rifle. Hicks faces murder charges and will undergo psychiatric evaluation.
