Zaca Lake Officials Hold Private Meet Over Resort Status
Developers of the failed Zaca Lake Resort met with County Planning Director Britt Johnson to learn the exact use allowed for the Santa Ynez Valley site near Los Olivos. Meanwhile subpoenas were served to several county supervisors as part of a grand jury probe into bribery allegations against Raul Navarro, a suspended county aide who pleads innocent on three counts. Navarro says a $1000 payment was a campaign contribution. Johnson cited road access and other day use issues as major hurdles for resort plans.
