Beach search for missing Vandenberg child continues
A 20 month old boy, David M. Ransom, remains missing off Vandenberg as crews from the Air Force Coast Guard and Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue scour the beach area near Pt Sal after a wave swept his mother and him from rocks. Mrs Ransom survived but was treated for shock at Vandenberg Hospital. The child is presumed drowned.

USC Students Fatally Shot on Campus in Likely Robbery
