Hartman Files Candidacy for Duchesne County Commissioner
Alta rancher J Bruce Hartman filed a declaration of candidacy as a Republican for a four year Duchesne County commissioner term. At a Wednesday courthouse meeting 30 party members backed Hartman and supported Carl Wilkerson for the post. Porter L Merrell will not seek re election as clerk after 32 years in county service and his long Democratic tenure.
