Mr. and Mrs. B A Jacoby and daughter Julie traveled to Minneapolis for the National School Board Convention at the Minneapolis Auditorium April 23 to 26. Hubert Humphrey addressed the assembly on Federal Education. The family also visited Wisconsin Chicago and Salt Lake before Jerry leaves for Anchorage for the summer.

Sanford F. Stocks aged 63 of 2754 Blair Sr died of natural causes on arrival at Murray Hospital April 30. He was born February 25, 1903 in Delta Colorado and married Mary Birch in 1924 then Ruby Hartle in 1944. Survived by wife, children, 15 grandchildren and sisters. Funeral at Duchesne LDS Chapel with burial in Myton Cemetery.
