Altamont to host Jr. Livestock show
The Moon Lake Junior Livestock Show opens at 10 a.m. Friday May 6 at the Altamont rodeo grounds. Entries from FFA and 4-H chapters in Duchesne and Uintah counties participate in beef cattle dairy sheep swine and horses with judging at noon and premiums paid after 4 p.m. Judges from Utah State University Extension Service map duties. A irrigation workshop field trip May 11 is also announced with experts from USU assisting.
