Farmer Tom Goodman Reports Cotton Plowed Under

R M Sherwood poultry husbandman at the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station and Mrs Sherwood with son left for Lansing Michigan to attend the twenty fifth annual National Poultry Science meet. Sherwood's paper on The Vitamin A Study With Laying Hen co authored with Dr G S Fraps was selected for presentation at the World Poultry Congress in Rome Italy in September. E O Siecke director of the Texas Forestry Service left Friday for Lufkin to inspect 12 state forestry camps in the national government program. Maj John S Guthrie of San Antonio joins him with Victor H Schoffelmayer of the Dallas News. About 2400 young men are employed in Texas forestry camps at present.
