A home on Hadford Road was destroyed by a lightning sparked blaze early Saturday. Firefighters, aided by Richland and Alba volunteers, estimated losses between 20000 and 30000 with no residents present. A motorist spotted the fire and storms knocked out area phones. Two fire departments responded.

Plans Define The Plains Sewer Boundaries For Athens County
