Man charged with robbery and kidnapping in 2014 case

Akia Raziel-Montre Jordan, 22, of Sonora Court, was charged with armed robbery kidnapping weapon possession during a violent crime forgery and a drug charge. He was extradited from Richmond County to Aiken County after a January 10 2014 home invasion in Washington Circle. Detectives seek the other two suspects.

Statehouse Blocks S C State Shutdown Plan Amid Outcry

South Carolina lawmakers halted a bid to suspend S C State University operations for at least three semesters to cut debt and fund repayments.
