Aiken Public Safety reports a Schofield Middle School teacher was struck in the head with a lunch tray by a juvenile student on January 3 in the cafeteria. Swint Edward Bradberry died February 9 2015 at age 92 born 1922 in Boaz Alabama son of John Jefferson and Flora Mo man Bradberry. He owned Porky Bradberry's Jewelry opened 1952 on Whiskey Road and remained a dedicated watchmaker and local trusted figure. He and wife Elizabeth were longtime South Aiken Church of God members described as pillars of the church. He is survived by Elizabeth Porky and several grandsons with memorials to South Aiken Church of God. Derrek Asberry.
