Electric line visit boosts cemetery and experiment station link

Vice-president Aiken of the C S W Traction Company toured the city Monday to view a proposed electric line to the cemetery and experiment station, praising the experiment farm and city. Early Tuesday reports claimed James Elliott of South Walnut Street was arrested for liquor-law violations, but officials offered no details and Elliott reportedly stayed home plowing corn. Impure blood is urged to be cured by Burack Blood Bitters.

Married men win Brush Works game in seven innings

In a seven inning Brush Works contest on Saturday afternoon at the far grounds the married men beat the single men 17 to 15. The game began around 4 80 and ended a couple hours later with Frank Hormann and Krause scoring for the married team while Foss and Devinney starred for the singles. Umpire D R Whitman of Cleveland praised the match and overall performance though several players were noted for strong play and rooting strategies.
