Survived by a daughter three sons nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren with services in New London and burial at Grove Street Cemetery. Memorials to Firelands Ambulance Service or Plymouth United Methodist Church.

Woman cited after pickup crashes with motorcycle in New Haven
The Norwalk Post reports a 2002 Ford Ranger driven by Shawna Crooks 23 of Willard pulled from a BP Station private drive and collided with a 2008 Honda motorcycle driven by Joseph Mitchell 49 of Greenwich on US 224. Mitchell sustained incapacitating injuries and was flown to St. Vincent's Hospital after EMS transport. Crooks wore a seat belt and was not injured. her truck was towed. Crooks was cited for failing to yield from a private drive. The Willard Fire Department and Clark Brothers Towing assisted.

Energy savings meeting on Oct 22 in North Fairfield
