Wellman Funeral Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Frank Wellman, who died April 24 in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness, were held Wednesday at 2 pm in the Jensen ward chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Moron Moon, bishop, presided. speakers included John Bolton, Bennett, H Walter Woolley, and Hatch Sundquist of Vernal. Singers Darwin Snow and Mrs May Jorgen sen performed In the Garden, The Old Rugged Cross, and In the Gloaming with piano accompaniment by Mrs LaVon Wall. Prayers by Howard A Caldwell and fra S Gardner. Pallbearers were Eugene K Sundquist, Harden Nelson Jr, Larr Williams, Del Mar Bastian, Nolan Mackay, and Don Millecam. Burial in Jensen cemetery with grave consecration by Warren Billings. An old fever remedy involving washing water over a patient and onto a frog was noted.
