County Agent Announces New Weed Killer for Ditch Areas
County agent Clair R. Acord reports a new chemical called C M A a white powder mixed with soil at 100 pounds per acre to sterilize soil for two to three years and kill all plants in treated areas including weeds quack grass and trees. The chemical C M U is non toxic to animals and should be applied early before water enters ditches or ponds, with caution around ornamental or shade trees.
