Rescued collie returns home after long North Creek rescue
A purebred collie stranded across the Hudson River near North Creek and North River was finally trapped and rescued after days of outreach. Fire Kills 15 Horses in Moreau Barn Blaze
A large wooden barn on Sisson Road owned by Bernard Casey burned early today. Fifteen harness horses died. four escaped, two of which were struck by a fire truck en route. Firefighters from South Glens Falls West Glens Falls and Glens Falls took two hours to control the blaze with no other injuries reported.
