Sisters of St. Josion opened registration and heard talks on administration and guidance. A proposal to acquire a site for a lodge, in the Urban Renewal Area, was advanced by Patrick S. Rensselaer County Sheriff Harold E. Harriman reported an ongoing probe into vandalism and malicious mischief by juveniles in West Sand Lake. Deputies Zwinger Miller Leavenworth questioned several youths after apples and other objects were thrown at autos on Route 150, with roving juvenile crowds dispersed near Miller's Supermarket. Parents were warned of Family Court action if the incidents continue, including at the elementary school property.
