The Biller Opera House hosts the Fifty-Third Annual Commernement on May 20, 1948 at 8:30 p.m. The program includes processional invocation salutatory class will, eight grade diplomas, class history, prophecies, and valedictory with dignitaries such as Dean Faye E. Gartels and Miss Vesta M. Thorngate.
The service at eight o’clock features processional prayers scripture from Palms 119 9 18 and titled items including The Green Cathedral Painting the Pump Open My Eyes and The Lord s Prayer. The Rev Theodore Moehring leads with sermon by Rev Esther Young and Benediction followed by recessional LaRee Lucking.
Richard Hays serves as president and Faye Garrels as secretary in the class officers slate with Guilford Wiemers named vice president.
