The Amelia Junior High Chorus will sing for the PTA's first meeting of the year on Tuesday Oct 2 at 7 30 p m in the high school cafetorium. The program includes a brief business session teacher introductions and an open house.

BMOP life squad members start a 60 hour state course at the Amelia firehouse to boost first aid knowledge. Thanks to the BMOP Ladies Auxiliary the department and life squad gain new equipment including a light weight portable resuscitator a Scott Air Pack an alert radio and jackets. The auxiliary plans further purchases via rummage bake sales paper drives and telephone book distribution while all BMOP members serve as volunteers.
