Home Start Program Launched In County

Batavia woman indicted in fatal shooting case

Following the fatal shooting of Raymond Smith, 40, at his Batavia home, Con stance K. Padgett, 33, of Cincinnati, was indicted for first degree manslaughter by the Clermont County grand jury. The grand jury also returned two sealed indictments. arraignments are pending. Other indictments included Faye Hedges 27 Bryan K. Marquardt 19 Michael P. Wisby 19 and Richard D. Orme 19 with larceny and breaking and entering charges.
