Loveland erased a 13 14 deficit with a 21 point fourth quarter to beat Madeira 34 26 and stay atop the conference. Bill Hauser connected with Herb Mihaleh on a key pass and Tim Dooley added a late 33 yard TD as Loveland improved to 10 0 last season. Glen Este Triumphed 16 13 over Deer Park as Butch Hamach made two picks and Roy Cowan blocked a punt for the Trojans. New Richmond fell 12 6 to Clermont Northeastern in CNE action.

Union Two Library Plans Story Hour and Sale
The Union Township Branch Library on Mt. Carmel-Tabasco Road schedules a six week pre school story hour starting October 29 at 11 a.m. for four and five year olds led by Miss Arlene Petraske. Reservations are urged by calling 752-7583 one week in advance. A used book sale is set for October 15. The library reports strong summer programs with 156 students in the Reading Club and 89 finishing the 12 book minimum. Wendy Kleete and Lydia Dowers each read eight books. Public services include after 8:30 p.m. and all day Fridays, with the Chess Club on Tuesdays and the Bristles and Blades Art Club on Fridays.
