Appeals court overturns conviction of DEA consultant
The Ohio 12th District Court of Appeals reversed the 1981 disorderly conduct conviction of Dennis A. Roberge, 5821 Jeb Stuart Drive, a Hamilton case tied to a December 1980 Hamilton teachers strike. The court found no evidence he hindered others at the bank during a sit-in and thus voided the verdict and sentence. Roberge had argued his presence at the bank was lawful as teachers conducted business there. The jury's brief deliberation preceded the verdict.
