Bella Vista parents win bus stop tweaks in Batavia

Batavia school officials address overcrowded buses at Bella Vista Apartments on University Lane. Buses will stop at two points inside the complex and another route extended to serve about 20 children, easing crowding as construction continues at Batavia elementary and middle schools. Bella Vista Residents' Council plans a candidates night October 19 at 6 30 p.m. at the Bella Vista lounge.

Willowbrook parents press for safer school bus routes

Beggars' Night Set For Saturday October 30

Clermont County areas will observe Beggars' Night Saturday October 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. The County Association of Township Trustees and Clerks recommended the date to county commissioners who chose to encourage that night rather than designate it. Croswell and Wiesenhahn clash over jail sales tax use in Clermont County

Clermont County Commissioner candidates Jerome Wiesenhahn and incumbent Republican Bob Croswell offer diverging plans on earmarking the piggyback sales tax for jail facilities.
