Wheat allotments being established in Clermont County farms
Byron Ross of the Clermont County Agricultural Conservation Committee announced the start of 1950 wheat allotments for farms that produced wheat in 1947 1948 or 1949 or plan to grow wheat in 1950. Farmers must file Farm Acreage Reports by May 20 1949 and provide wheat corn tobacco history for 1948 1947 1946 1945 and other crops in 1948 and 1947. If no wheat was grown in the last three years but is planned for 1950 a new allotment request is due by May 20 1949.
