Double J's 4-H Camp Fundraiser Schedule
Double J s 4 H club met May 1 at Mrs Trula Gullett s home with 17 of 20 girls present to receive order blanks and catalogs for selling products to fund camp. A May 5 record hop was hosted by June Tonkin, new members were initiated, and on May 13 the group hosted a Mothers Banquet at Mt Holly Church. On May 27 they planned a program at Mt Holly Church during the 11 a m service.

Southern Ohio Bank Sets Grand Opening Date May 17 1962
The Southern Ohio National Bank plans a neighborhood office opening at Beechmont and Nordyke with a May 26 grand event from 11 am to 4 pm. A Southern Belle will distribute Confederate money replicas May 25 26 and prizes include a 19 inch TV, twenty $5 savings accounts, 1000 cherry tree seedlings, and Forest Drive-In tickets.

In Owensville on May 10 the Sew n Sews 4H Club met at advisor Mrs. Dorsey home. A state patrolman spoke on safety and screened a movie The Flying Wheel. Guests included Rosemarie Heming John Ruoff and Mr Dorseys auto club. Next meeting May 17 at the Collins home per Catherine Sommer.
