Village of Batavia enacts parking restrictions to curb vehicle and trailer parking on Market Street southeast side and near Main Street. Restrictions apply to doctors dentists taxi cabs and general spaces with time limits up to 18 hours and 72 hour temporary rules with police authority and required notice.
Community announcements from New Richmond include church and club events with May meetings in Columbus and Moscow, guests visiting at Washington Street, a bridal shower for Eliza Haggard, and Kiwanis and D C Club activities. Obituaries note George Morris in Nicholsville, Charles Gelvin in Neville, and John Gramer of Moscow with family survivors.

Clermont County's Agricultural Conservation Committee reports 61 percent of county farms, totaling 1,535 farmers, have signed up to cooperate in the AAA program. They farm 8 percent of cropland and seek $114,071.60 in program aid for soil conservation work.

Fishback of Batavia Ohio files a notice of registration for the trade name Hello Beverages and the ownership mark consisting of the words Hello Beverages around a boy and girl with telephone receivers. The mark is used on bottled soft drinks and on bottles boxes and cases. The notice complies with the General Code of Ohio Section 6240-1.
The text describes open farm drainage ditches to remove excess surface water. Under the Agricultural Conservation program the farmer provides labor and pays part of the cost, while the practice is performed on his farm.
