Drunken disturbance awakens Batavia residents on Main Street
In the early hours Sunday about 2 o'clock a crowd of drunken revelers on Main Street Batavia created loud indecent language spreading from lower Main to the Bank corner. Empty bottles were found at dawn. Citizens vow arrests may follow as they seek restraint in future incidents. George Lewis on duty reports no telephone at his east town post. Summit Maywood Sewing Club Formed A Year Ago
A year ago women near Summit and Maywood organized the Summit Maywood Sewing Club to help with sewing and socialize. It now has 14 members with officers President Mrs. W. H. Woman shoots neighbor in self declared feud over stones
