Goshen Man Charged With Aggravated Arson In Monroe Fire
A 34 year old Goshen Township man is charged with aggravated arson after a fire at Perkins Cake and Steak House in Monroe caused about 400000 dollars in damage. He was held on a $10000 bond at Warren County Jail. Police say the arson was planned with an odor of gasoline noted prior to the blaze and another suspect was being sought.

College art winners at Clermont College exhibit
Clermont College held its 10th annual Elementary Art Exhibit for grades one through six in March with participation from six teen schools, 19 art teachers, and over 600 students. Dr. Mary Fletcher DeJong directed the show, judged by Mrs. Jane Mason. One hundred twenty ribbons were awarded along with Gold Star Awards for all participants and Best of Show ribbons for numerous students across Amelia Batavia Bethel Tate Brantner Guardian Angels Monroe New Richmond Pleasant Hill Pierce Summerside and more.
