Thirty top educators from the area and across the state visited Clermont Northeastern High School for two days to inspect classes and meet teachers. The local superintendent noted that since 1977 North Central Association accreditation has been a goal for CNE and that in 1978 the board authorized pursuing accreditation, expressing confidence in the school's resources leadership and vitality for ongoing progress.

Dieckmann, a CG&E employee since 1960, will lead the engineering operations group of the gas division. He previously headed gas engineering in 1977 and served in the gas operation department. He holds a BA in economics and civil engineering from Ohio Northern and an MBA in management from Xavier University.
