Clermont County backs fair tax amendment drive
Clermont County commissioners endorsed the Fair Tax Amendment at the March 18 meeting. Linda Wuerdeman urged support as petitions circulate in the county and other Ohio counties to place the measure on November ballots. She seeks about 25,000 county signatures and notes the proposal would return 50 percent of city earnings taxes to home municipalities. Some Norwood officials warn of lost city revenues, while Milford officials defer comment.
