J Richard Hamm longtime Williamsburg School Board treasurer died Friday March 12 after more than 35 years of service. In a special meeting Mabel Storer was named temporary treasurer. Hamm who was 65 served as clerk treasurer for 29 years and as a board member for 20 years. He worked at Trailmobile and F H Lawson before joining the district. He married Thelma Connor in 1936 and leaves four children ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with two sisters and two brothers. He was active in church and youth programs including Boy Scouts Explorer Scouts and Knothole Baseball.
