Goshen beat Madeira 41-34 in overtime after leading by as many as six early in the game. Key players included Hadley with 18 points Cornelius 8 Metz 10 and Cole 3 for Goshen while New Richmond’s Richmond 21 Law 13 Stacy 9 fueled the Blue Devils. Coach Bill Schmidbauer praised the seniors and season as the team advanced to the Madeira clash.

Glen Este's girls varsity finished 10 11 overall with a 7 7 Eastern Hills League mark. Senior Amy Murphy averaged 19.3 ppg and made 92 percent of free throws. Chris Miranda and Kim Bosken averaged 1 and 10 points respectively while Chery Kohlemy grabbed 11 boards per game. Coach Campbell credited disciplined play and low turnovers. In boys Class A Batavia won a tourney game 39 38 over Georgetown then fell to Summit Country Day, Felicity lost to Ripley 70 40. Felicity’s Alan Canter led with double digits.
